The University of Da Nang

The University of Da Nang (UDN) is a regional multi-disciplinary university system in Central Vietnam.

The history of the University of Da Nang (UDN) can be traced back to the early 20th century, when a number of educational institutions were established in the city of Da Nang. In 1957, the Da Nang Polytechnic School was founded, which was the first higher education institution in the city. In the following decades, a number of other educational institutions were established in Da Nang, including the Da Nang Foreign Language Teachers Training College, the Quang Nam Teachers Training College, and the Nguyen Van Troi Vocational School.

In 1994, the Vietnamese government decided to merge these institutions into a single university, the University of Da Nang. The UDN was established on April 4, 1994, and was the first comprehensive university in Vietnam.

Since its establishment, the UDN has grown rapidly and is now one of the largest universities in Vietnam.

The UDN is committed to providing high-quality education and research opportunities to its students. The university has a strong focus on internationalization and cooperates with a number of universities and research institutions around the world.
