Alcorn State University

Alcorn State University is a public institution of higher education and a land-grant university located in Lorman, Mississippi. Founded in 1871, it is a historically black university and among the first public historically black land-grant universities in the U.S. Alcorn State provides access to quality education and educational opportunities primarily for African Americans. In addition, it offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in agriculture, business, education, and the liberal arts.
