Uganda is a country located in East Africa and is home to a growing higher education system. The country has a diverse range of public and private universities, including traditional universities and technical institutions. The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology, and Sports oversees the education system in Uganda and has made significant efforts to improve access to higher education. Despite these efforts, access to higher education remains limited for many students, particularly those from rural areas and disadvantaged backgrounds. The government has also implemented policies to increase the number of international students studying in the country.
