University of Sousse

he University of Sousse (French: Université de Sousse, Arabic: جامعة سوسة) is a public university in Sousse, Tunisia.

The history of the University of Sousse can be traced back to the founding of the University of Monastir in 1974. In 1991, the University of Monastir was divided into two institutions: the University of Monastir and the University of the Center.

In 2004, the University of the Center was divided into three new institutions: the University of Sousse, the University of Monastir, and the University of Kairouan. The University of Sousse was officially inaugurated on October 19, 2004.

The University of Sousse is a relatively young university, but it has quickly become one of the leading universities in Tunisia. It is committed to providing its students with a high-quality education and to conducting cutting-edge research. The university is also a major contributor to the economic and social development of Sousse and the surrounding region.
