Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi

Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi also referred to as RUS Green University, is a public university located in Nonthaburi, Thailand.

Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi (RMUTS), though established as a university in 2005, boasts a rich history rooted in vocational education. Its story begins with several vocational colleges that emerged under the Department of Vocational Education (DVE) in Thailand. These included the Ayutthaya Agricultural College, Ayutthaya Commercial Colleges, and Nonthaburi Technical College. With the implementation of the National Education Act of 1999, higher education institutions came under the purview of the Commission on Higher Education. This period of reform saw the restructuring of these colleges. The Regional Institute of Technology (RIT) Act was reformed, leading to the creation of nine universities under the Rajamangala University of Technology Act. RMUTS itself was formed by uniting the Wasukri, Huntra, Nonthaburi, and Suphanburi campuses, with the President's office situated in the Huntra district.
