Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin

Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin is a public university in Thailand.

The Rajamangala University of Technology (RMUT) system boasts a rich history dedicated to fostering technical expertise in Thailand. While the individual universities under RMUT have their own founding dates, the system itself can trace its roots back to vocational schools established in the early 20th century. Recognizing the need for a skilled workforce to fuel Thailand's industrial growth, the government initiated these institutions.

In 1990, a significant step was taken when several vocational schools were merged to form the nine Rajamangala Institutes of Technology. Finally, in 2005, these institutes were elevated to full university status, forming the Rajamangala University of Technology system as we know it today. RMUTR, established in the same year, became one of the nine universities within the system.

Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin (RMUTR) offers a dynamic campus life for its students. With four campuses spread across Thailand, students can choose an environment that suits them. The main Salaya campus is a bustling hub with modern facilities, while the other campuses provide a more intimate setting.
