Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep

Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep is a state-run university in Thailand.

The Rajamangala University of Technology (RMUT) system boasts a rich history rooted in Thailand's commitment to vocational education. Its origins can be traced back to the establishment of the Rajamangala Institute of Technology (RIT) in the early 20th century. RIT comprised several campuses spread across the nation, offering practical, skill-based programs. 

Recognizing the growing need for higher learning opportunities, the Thai government enacted the Rajamangala University of Technology Act in 2005. This act transformed the existing RIT campuses into nine independent universities, each focusing on science, technology, and vocational education. This move aimed to empower these institutions, granting them greater autonomy in curriculum development and administration. 

Today, the nine RMUT universities stand as testaments to Thailand's dedication to fostering skilled professionals. They continue to evolve, offering bachelor's degrees, vocational certificates, and even postgraduate programs in various technical and industry-relevant fields.
