Phetchaburi Rajabhat University boasts a rich history dating back to 1926. It all began with a humble establishment – a teacher training school for agriculture in Ratchaburi Province. This initial focus on agricultural education reflected the region's agricultural significance. In 1933, the school underwent its first transformation, upgrading to the Moon Teacher Training School. Over the following decades, it continued to evolve, undergoing several name changes and curriculum expansions. Finally, in 2004, it reached its current status – Phetchaburi Rajabhat University.
