Navamindradhiraj University

Navamindradhiraj University, formerly known as the University of Bangkok Metropolis, is a public university located in Bangkok, Thailand.

Navamindradhiraj University (NMU), originally established in 2010 as the University of Bangkok Metropolis, is a relatively young public university. Despite its recent inception, it has its roots in the prestigious Faculty of Medicine Vajira Hospital, established in 1967.  In 2010, the university incorporated the Faculty of Medicine Vajira Hospital alongside several other existing colleges and institutions under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. This merger aimed to create a comprehensive university focused on medical sciences and public services.

Since its establishment, NMU has strived to become a leader in medical education and research in Thailand. The university has actively collaborated with other institutions to provide students with advanced learning opportunities and contribute to the betterment of public health.

Navamindradhiraj University's motto is "Wisdom in Service to Humanity" (ปัญญา นำทาง บริการสรรค์สุข). This motto emphasizes the university's commitment to providing its students with the knowledge and skills necessary to serve the community and improve people's lives. The motto reflects the university's focus on medical sciences and public service, aiming to cultivate graduates who can contribute meaningfully to society's well-being.
