To democratize knowledge through Open and Distance Learning (ODL). It stood as the sole university in the nation solely dedicated to ODL, making education flexible and accessible for working adults, regardless of age, background, or location.

OUSL's journey began with a limited range of courses. But ambition bloomed quickly.
