Vaal University of Technology

Vaal University of Technology is a prominent higher education institution in South Africa.

In 1966, a seed for a future technological hub was sown in South Africa. Established as a college for advanced technical education, the institution witnessed rapid growth, expanding its facilities and student body throughout the late 1960s and 1970s. In 1979, it transitioned into a Technikon, reflecting its evolving role in the higher education landscape. Finally, in 2004, a significant transformation occurred – the institution earned its current status as a full-fledged University of Technology.
