Kibogora Polytechnic is a public higher education institution located in Kibogora, Rwanda.
Kibogora Polytechnic was founded in 1987 as Kibogora Community Development Training Center (KCDTC). It was established by the Free Methodist Church in Rwanda (FMCR) with the aim of providing vocational training to the community.
In 1993, KCDTC was upgraded to a vocational training institution and renamed Kibogora Vocational Training Center (KVTC). KVTC offers a variety of vocational training programs, including carpentry, masonry, and tailoring.
In 2014, KPI was granted definitive accreditation by the Rwanda Higher Education Council (RHEC) and was renamed Kibogora Polytechnic (KP). KP is now a fully accredited higher education institution offering a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
KP has a strong commitment to providing quality education and has a number of partnerships with organizations in Rwanda and abroad. KP is a member of the Association of African Universities (AAU) and the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU).
KP is a leading provider of higher education in Rwanda and is making a significant contribution to the country's development. KP is committed to providing its students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their chosen careers.
