The university hired a number of international faculty members and developed a curriculum that was based on the latest economic and management theories.

HSE quickly gained a reputation as one of the leading universities in Russia. The university's graduates are highly sought-after by employers around the world, and HSE has become a major center for research and innovation.

Today, HSE University is a comprehensive university with four campuses in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, and Perm. HSE University is also a leading research university.
