Enverga, a prominent businessman and philanthropist from Lucena City, Quezon, Philippines. In 1950, Luzonian Colleges was granted university status by the Philippine government. The university continued to grow and expand its offerings over the years, and in 1976, it was renamed the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation in honor of its founder.
