The institution has a rich history that began in 1912 when it was established as the Guinobatan Rural High School by Dr. Felipe Cevallos. In 1927, recognizing the growing importance of agricultural education, the institution was renamed the Guinobatan Agricultural School, reflecting its commitment to enhancing agricultural practices and supporting local farmers.

In 1950, it underwent another transformation, becoming the Roxas Memorial Agricultural School, a tribute to significant contributions in the field of agriculture.
