Aklan State University - Ibajay Campus is a public university located in Ibajay, Philippines. It is part of Aklan State University, a state university system in the province of Aklan.
The university began its journey in 1965 as the Ibajay National Agricultural and Industrial School (INAIS). This institution was established with the primary goal of providing vocational and technical education to the youth of Ibajay and surrounding areas. In 1978, INAIS underwent a significant transformation and was converted into the Ibajay National Agricultural School (INAS). This change reflected the school's growing focus on agricultural education and training. A major milestone occurred in 1988 when INAS was integrated into Aklan State University (ASU). This integration marked the beginning of a new era for the campus, as it became part of a larger state university system with broader resources and opportunities.
To further enhance its educational offerings, the campus established the College of Rural Development in 1994. This college focused on providing programs related to rural development, agriculture, and natural resource management. In a significant achievement, the campus gained accreditation for its Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management program in 2011.
