Shah Abdul Latif University

Shah Abdul Latif University is a public research university located in Khairpur, Sindh, Pakistan.

The university was founded in 1979 with the primary goal of addressing the increasing demand for higher education in Sindh. Initially established as a single campus, it quickly gained popularity and played a crucial role in providing accessible education to students from the region. In 1986, the Sindh provincial assembly passed an act to elevate the campus into a fully independent university, and the act came into force in 1987, making the institution fully functional and operational. Named after the renowned poet and spiritualist Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, the university is located in Khairpur, Sindh, Pakistan. The campus spans an expansive 291 acres, featuring lush green lawns, playgrounds, and numerous trees that create a serene and conducive environment for academic activities.
