Massey University is a public university in New Zealand, with campuses in Palmerston North, Auckland, and Wellington.

Massey University's roots date back to 1927, when the Auckland University College School of Agriculture was established. In 1961, the school gained independence and became Massey University College, named after William Massey, the 19th Prime Minister of New Zealand. The following year, the college officially became Massey University.
