Kolej Dar al-Hikmah (KDH) was established in 1989 as the Institut Pengajian Ilmu-Ilmu Islam (IPII). Founded with the aim of providing quality Islamic education, the institution initially focused on offering programs related to Islamic studies. Recognizing the growing demand for professional education, KDH expanded its curriculum to include a wider range of programs. In 2002, the institution was renamed Kolej Dar al-Hikmah to reflect its broader scope and aspirations. From the outset, KDH has been committed to combining Islamic values with academic excellence.
