Asia College of Exercise and Sports Medicine

Asia College of Exercise and Sport Medicine is located in Shah Alam, Malaysia and is the only college in Malaysia dedicated to exercise medicine.

The institution, founded in 2016, was established with the aim of addressing the growing demand for qualified exercise therapists in Malaysia. Recognizing the importance of exercise medicine in promoting health and managing chronic conditions, the founders, a group of experts in the field, sought to create a specialized college dedicated to this discipline. With a focus on providing a comprehensive education, the college initially offered a Diploma in Exercise Science program. This program laid the foundation for the institution and equipped students with the essential knowledge and skills to become proficient exercise therapists.

As the college gained recognition and expanded its offerings, it introduced the Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Medicine program. This program delved deeper into the theoretical and practical aspects of exercise medicine, enabling graduates to apply their knowledge in various settings, including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and fitness facilities. In response to the increasing complexity of sports injuries and the need for specialized rehabilitation, the college further expanded its curriculum with the Master of Science in Sports Rehabilitation program. This advanced program focused on the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of sports-related injuries, preparing graduates to become experts in their field.
