Al-Farabi Kazakh National University

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU) is a public university located in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It is the oldest and largest university in Kazakhstan. It was founded in 1934 as the Kazakh State University, and was renamed in honor of the 10th-century philosopher and scientist Al-Farabi in 1991.
