Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences

Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences (SBUMS) is one of the three medical universities in Tehran, the capital of Iran. It is also the second largest medical university in Iran.

The history of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences (SBUMS) dates back to 1961, when the Schools of Medicine and Dentistry were established. At the time, the schools were part of Melli University (the Iranian National University).
