IPB University

IPB University is a state-run agricultural university based in the regency of Bogor, Indonesia. It is one of the most prestigious universities in Indonesia.

The history of IPB University can be traced back to 1941, when the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences was established at the University of Indonesia in Bogor. The establishment of this faculty was a major milestone in the development of agricultural higher education in Indonesia.

In 1963, the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences was separated from the University of Indonesia and became an independent institution, known as the Bogor Institute of Agriculture (IPB).
