International Black Sea University

The International Black Sea University (IBSU) is a private university located in Tbilisi, Georgia.

The story of the International Black Sea University begins in 1995, nestled in the heart of Tbilisi, Georgia. A result of collaboration between then-Georgian president Eduard Shevardnadze and Turkish prime minister Tansu Çiller, IBSU emerged as a beacon of international education. Its mission: to equip both Georgian and foreign students with expertise in scientific, technical, and professional fields.

The first faculty to set sail, the Faculty of Computer Technologies and Engineering, charted a course for highly sought-after programs in the growing digital landscape.
