Yancheng Teachers University

Yancheng Teachers University is a comprehensive university located in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province, China.

The roots of this university run deep, reaching back to 1958. In that year, two separate colleges with a shared mission of teacher education were established.  These institutions served as the foundation upon which the current university was built.  For several years, they operated independently, each accumulating valuable experience and expertise in the field of pedagogy.

However, in 1999, a significant event took place. Recognizing the potential for synergy and a stronger academic base, these two colleges merged to form the university we know today.
