Xinxiang Medical University

Xinxiang Medical University is a provincial public medical university located in Xinxiang City, Henan province, China.

The seeds of this esteemed medical university were sown in 1896, with the establishment of a western medicine clinic. This clinic, a testament to the early adoption of modern medical practices, laid the groundwork for the future institution.  Fast forward to 1922, and medical education took root with the founding of the Huimin Hospital Nursing School. This marked a pivotal moment, as it formalized the training of medical professionals in the region. The culmination of these efforts came in 1950 with the official establishment of the university.  Recognizing its potential and adherence to international standards, the World Health Organization granted it recognition in 1958. This recognition cemented the university's reputation as a leader in medical education and opened doors for international collaboration.
