Tianjin Medical University

Tianjin Medical University is a well-regarded medical university located in Tianjin, China.

This esteemed medical university's roots trace back to 1951, emerging as a medical college and becoming one of the first institutions of its kind to receive the official stamp of approval from the State Council. In 1993, a significant chapter unfolded when the medical college merged with another esteemed institution, the Tianjin Second Medical College, solidifying its stature and giving birth to the university as it stands today. Recognition continued in 1996 when it became the sole university in Tianjin to be included in Project 211, a prestigious initiative designed to foster top universities in China. More recently, its inclusion in the Double First-Class Construction initiative further cemented its position as a leader in the field of medical education.
