Nanjing University of Technology

Nanjing University of Technology, also referred to as Nanjing Tech, is a well-regarded provincial public technological university located in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China.

The roots can be traced back to the early 20th century with the establishment of a department focused on chemical engineering.  This department, initially housed within a larger university, eventually evolved into the Nanjing Chemical Engineering University in 1958.  Meanwhile, another branch focused on architecture and civil engineering blossomed independently, ultimately becoming the Nanjing Architectural Engineering College in 1953. These two institutions, each with decades of experience educating engineers and architects, decided to join forces in 2001.  This merger created a powerhouse of scientific and technological knowledge, offering a wider range of programs and fostering a more comprehensive learning environment.

The university motto embodies this spirit of intellectual pursuit.
