Nanchang University

Nanchang University is a well-regarded public research university located in Nanchang, Jiangxi province, China.

This prestigious university boasts a rich history dating back to 1921 when it was founded as the Jiangxi Public Medical School. Over the years, it has undergone several transformations, evolving into the National Chung-Cheng Medical College in 1937 and then the National Chung-Cheng University in 1940. In 1958, it became Jiangxi University. Another significant development occurred that same year with the establishment of Jiangxi Polytechnic College. Finally, in 1993, these two institutions merged to form the current university.
