Hubei University of Chinese Medicine

The Hubei University of Chinese Medicine, formerly known as Hubei Traditional Chinese Medicine College, is a provincial public university located in Wuhan, Hubei, China.

The university's roots trace back to 1958, when it began as a humble institution – the Traditional Chinese Medicine College. Back then, its focus was on preserving and transmitting the wisdom of this ancient healing system. In 1959, it transformed into the Hubei Provincial College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, reflecting its growing stature within the province. By 1964, another name change to Hubei College of Traditional Chinese Medicine solidified its identity as a major center for traditional medical education. Fast forward to 2003, the college underwent a significant transformation. 

It merged with the Hubei College of Medical Laboratory Sciences, expanding its scope beyond traditional practices.
