Hebei University of Technology is a prestigious public university located in Tianjin, China.

This esteemed university's history stretches back to 1903, marking its place as a trailblazer in China's modern technological education system. Its journey began as a modest technical school known as the Beiyang Technical School. Just a year later, it underwent a name change to Zhili Higher School of Technology, reflecting its growing stature. Finally, in 1971, the university we know today was officially re-established, reclaiming the name Hebei Institute of Technology.
