National University

The National University of Bangladesh is a public collegiate university of Bangladesh.

In 1992, amid a surging demand for higher education in Bangladesh, the National University rose from the pages of an Act of Parliament. Unlike its on-campus brethren, NUB forged a unique path, becoming an affiliating university, a bridge reaching across the nation. Through a vast network of affiliated colleges and institutions, NUB offered graduate and postgraduate programs, bringing quality education within reach of even the most remote corners of Bangladesh.

NUB's birth stemmed from a pressing need. Traditional universities overflowed, leaving many yearning for knowledge without a place to pursue it. NUB, with its innovative model, tapped into the existing infrastructure of colleges and institutions, transforming them into gateways to graduate-level studies. From bustling Dhaka to serene villages, NUB's touch extends far and wide, making it the fifth largest university in Bangladesh by student enrollment and a global contender in the number of affiliated colleges.
