Cox's Bazar International University (CBIU) is a young and vibrant university established in 2013, making it the first private university in the beautiful coastal district of Cox's Bazar in Bangladesh. The university's origin story is rooted in a noble vision. It all began with the founder and chairman, Ms. Begum Shamsun Nahar, who recognized the need for a high-quality higher education platform in the southern region of Bangladesh. CBIU started its academic journey in 2014 with a limited number of undergraduate programs offered through the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
