Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology

Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology, also known as BAIUST, is a relatively young university in Bangladesh with a strong connection to the Bangladesh Army.

Established in February 2015, the Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology (BAIUST) emerged from a shared vision of academic excellence and national service. Its unique story unfolds on two campuses: a temporary one in Comilla, supported by the Cumilla Cantonment, and a permanent one under construction near Dhaka-Chittagong Highway.

The university's birth owed much to the Bangladesh Army's commitment to fostering skilled professionals. Driven by a motto of "Knowledge, Wisdom and Technology," BAIUST embarked on a mission to offer rigorous academic programs while instilling the values of discipline, leadership, and service. Its faculties of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Business Studies, and Science & Humanities soon began welcoming eager students, nurturing diverse talents within its walls.

The story of BAIUST is still being written. The relocation to the permanent campus promises not only expanded facilities but also a deeper integration with the surrounding community. As it steps into the future, BAIUST remains committed to its founding principles, striving to bridge the gap between knowledge and its application, while preparing its graduates to be not just professionals but also responsible citizens serving their nation and the world.
