Applied Science University, Al Eker is a private university located in Al Eker, south of Manama within the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Applied Science University, Al Eker (ASU) was established in 2004 by Bahraini academic Waheeb Al-Khaja. It was one of the first private universities in Bahrain to teach in both the Arabic and the English languages. ASU was licensed by the Ministry of Education in 2004 and is owned by Gulf Education Project W.L.L. Company, based in Bahrain. ASU began with a small number of students and programs, but it quickly grew.

ASU has played a significant role in the development of Bahrain's higher education system and its economy. The university has graduated thousands of students who have gone on to successful careers in various industries. ASU has also conducted groundbreaking research in a variety of fields, which has helped to advance the state of knowledge and improve the lives of Bahrainis.
