Nakhchivan State University (NSU) is a prestigious public university located in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Azerbaijan.

Nakhchivan State University's story began in 1967 as a humble branch of the Azerbaijan Pedagogical Institute. With just three staff members, it planted the seeds of higher education in the Nakhchivan region.
