Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) State University

The Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) State University (RAU) is an intergovernmental university being under the joint authority of the Russian Federation and Armenia. The languages of instruction and communication at the university are Russian and Armenian. Upon graduation, students receive two state Diplomas: Armenian and Russian.

The Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) State University (RAU) was founded in 1997 and enrolled its first students in 1999. The university initially offered undergraduate programs in Law, Public and Municipal Administration, and Journalism. In 2002, RAU established scientific centers, institutions, and problem research groups. The university's main building was reconstructed in 2004, and its post-graduate course was opened. In 2009, RAU opened its own Sports Complex and the Park of Gratitude, a symbol of the Russian-Armenian friendship. In 2017, RAU established its 7 values: Academic Freedom, Love, Fairness, Solidarity, Creativity, Cognition, and Personal Growth.
